Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is being lined-up by German champions Bayern Munich as a replacement for club legend Manuel Neuer.
Previously rated as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, the German international, who won the World Cup with his country in 2014, has recently suffered from injuries and a loss of form, and now the club are mulling over whether it is time to replace him.
And the man they are considering is Arsenal stopper Bernd Leno, who is currently number three for Germany behind Neuer and Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
27 year old Leno, who signed for the Gunners from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen last summer, is firmly established as the number one goalkeeper at The Emirates, and has enhanced his reputation during his time in the Premier League, despite playing behind a defence that regularly concedes goals. He has kept just two clean sheets in 12 Premier League games so far this season.
