Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech is the latest player to be linked to a move to Tottenham, as they continue their search for a replacement for Christian Eriksen.
The Moroccan international had a sensational season last campaign scoring 21 goals and providing 24 assists for the Eredivisie side, and has begun this season in a similar vein, having already scored 6 times and provided 15 assists for the Dutch champions.
Now he could be in line to replace another Ajax player, Eriksen, who is set to end his seven year association with Spurs next summer, although he could be sold in January for a fee, rather than leaving for nothing when his contract expires.
Under contract until 2022, Ziyech is likely to command a substantial transfer fee if he is to leave Ajax, and Tottenham have begun to sound out Ajax to find out how much they would want for the 26-year old.
