With his current contract at Anfield set to come to an end next summer, Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is being linked with moves to China and MLS (Major League Soccer).
The 31-year old Is likely to be offered a contract extension by Liverpool because manager Jurgen Klopp values his versatility and leadership qualities, but Lallana could be tempted by an approach from an overseas club if it offers him longer terms, and the prospect of more regular first-team football.
The former Southampton midfielder joined Liverpool in July 2014 for a fee of £25 million, and has gone on to make 164 appearances for the club, scoring 18 times. However, in recent years, his first-team chances have been restricted because of a series of long-term injuries.
He made his first Premier League start of the season on Saturday, but was substituted by Naby Keita in the 84th minute, as Liverpool dramatically fought back from a one goal deficit to snatch victory in injury time.
