Manchester United target Mario Mandžukić has been offered a huge salary to turn his back on the Premier League side and sign instead for Qatari team Al-Duhail in January.
The Juventus striker has not played for the Serie A side all season as he has been frozen out under new manager Maurizio Sarri, and has been closely linked with a switch to Old Trafford when the transfer window opens again.
However, the league leaders are trying to tempt him to change his mind, reportedly offering him a salary of £6.4 million to join the Qatari Super League instead.
Under contract in Turin until 2021, after signing a new deal last April, Juventus are prepared to pay a portion of his salary in order to terminate his contract early.
The 33 year old Croatian international, who played in the World Cup final in Moscow last year is not considering his options.
