Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny could be set for a January move to AC Milan.
The Egyptian international is currently on loan with Turkish side Beşiktaş, but has so far failed to impress with the Super Lig side, after losing his place under Unai Emery at the Emirates. Elneny was set off on his debut for his new club, and was promptly given a three match ban.
Despite that, he could be set for a move to the Serie A side, with the club looking for a replacement for Frank Kessie, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League himself in January.
AC Milan have endured a very difficult start to the season and were 13th in the table going into the international break. That form saw them dismiss manager Marco Giampaolo, and appoint Stefano Pioli in his stead.
Pioli has already identified midfield as one of the area that he needs to strengthen, and believes Elneny may have the qualities needed to strengthen the side in the middle of the park.
