Arsenal are considering recalling Eddie Nketiah from his loan spell with Leeds United.
The England under-21 international is spending the season with the Championship promotion hopefuls, but the Gunners are now giving serious consideration to exercise their option to recall him in January, because of his lack of game time at Elland Road.
The highly rated Nketiah has scored four goals in eight appearances in all competitions for Leeds, but he has mainly had to be content with a starting role on the bench, coming on a second-half substitute, which is not the sort of regular first-team football Arsenal wanted him to experience.
Instead he could be set for another loan move to Bristol City, one of the other clubs vying for his services in the summer, and who believe Nketiah may be the man who could help them with their own promotion push in the second half of the season.
