Bayern Munich are the latest club linked with a move for Christian Eriksen.
The Dane is unhappy at Spurs after failing to secure a move away from White Hart Lane in the summer, and has turned down the offer of a lucrative new deal with the club. Reports have emerged now that Chairman Daniel Levy has instructed Eriksen’s agent to find him a new club in January, with Tottenham looking to get around £20 million for the player, rather than see him leave for nothing when he becomes a free agent next summer.
That has alerted Real Madrid to his availability in January, but they may face competition from Bayern Munich, who recently faced Spurs in the Champions League, thrashing them 7 – 2 in front of their own supporters.
Bayern have already contacted the player’s representatives, and he is said to be open to the idea of switching to the reigning Bundesliga champions.
