PSV Eindhoven want to take Manchester United teenage winger Tahith Chong on loan in January.
Chong has started two matches so far this season for United – the Europa League match against FC Astana and the Carabao Cup tie with Rochdale last week, and also appeared off the bench in the Premier League victory over Leicester in September.
However, with cup ties his only chance of first-team football this season, PSV want to entice him back to his homeland with promises of regular top flight appearances in the Eredivisie.
Now Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to decide whether he can afford to let Chong go, even on a temporary basis, given the current depleted state of his resources at Old Trafford.
A Dutch under-21 international, Chong began his playing career aged 10 with the Feyenoord academy, before making the switch to Manchester in April 2016.
He was handed his first team debut against Southampton in March.
