Tottenham Hotspur are considering recalling teenage striker Jack Clarke from his loan spell with Leeds United.
The 18 year old winger was signed by Spurs in the summer from Leeds, but was allowed to join the South Yorkshire side back on loan for this season in order to further his development.
However, they now have concerns about the arrangement as Clarke has yet, this season, to play a single minute of football for them in the Championship. He did play for them twice in the Carabao Cup, but with Leeds having now exited that competition at the hands of Stoke City, his chances at Elland Road for first team football now appear limited.
Part of the problem lies with the fact that Leeds currently have six loan players in their squad, but are limited by football league rules to naming only five in their match day squad.
Tottenham have the right to recall him, having inserted a release clause when the loan arrangement was made.
