Real Madrid and Chelsea have entered into a secret transfer arrangement regarding N’Golo Kant, according to reports.
The World Cup winner was backed, at one stage in the summer to follow his former team mate, Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu, and has been high on the wish list of Real manager Zinedine Zidane since he resumed control of the Spanish club.
In the end, the midfielder remained at Stamford Bridge for another season at least, but now it is claimed that, in the event that Chelsea receive an offer for the player from any other club, then they will notify Real. They have also agreed that, if at any stage they decide to sell the 28-year old midfielder, they will notify Real in a similar fashion.
The agreement apparently is a reward for Real for not trying to cajole or tempt Kanté in any way to agitate for a move, even though the French international admitted to being tempted by a move to the Spanish capital.
It also gives Real the edge over any future negotiations for Kanté over PSG, who are also said to be heavily interested in bringing him back to his homeland.
