Right-back Serge Aurier is angling for a move away from Spurs before the European transfer windows close.
The 26 year old Ivory Coast international was an unused substitute on Saturday, as Tottenham came from behind to beat newly promoted Aston Villa 3 – 1 at home.
Now Aurier is looking for a move away from the side he joined only two years ago for £23 million from PSG.
Tottenham though have a decision to make though. Whilst Aurier has hardly impressed during his time at White Hart Lane, they find themselves short of cover in the right-back spot, having sold Kieran Trippier to Atlético Madrid. Apart from Walker-Peters, Juan Foyth can also play in the position, but he is out injured until September with an ankle injury.
Aurier has not played for Spurs since featuring in their Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund back in March.
