Bournemouth surprise candidates to sign Spurs midfielder

The 26 year old defensive midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, especially with the arrival of record signing Tanguy Ndombélé from Lyon in the summer. And now they are prepared to let him go, with Galatasary and West Ham also reported to be interested in the former Southampton manager.

The Kenyan international followed Mauricio Pochettino from the Saints to Spurs when the Argentine took over in 2016 in a £11.5 million deal, but after establishing himself as a first-team regular, his progress has since checked, in part due to a series of injuries.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has already brought in Huddersfield midfielder Philip Billing, Club Brugge winger Arnaut Danjuma, and Luton full-back Jack Stacey, but he is still looking to strengthen his midfield, and has transfer funds available to make a bid for Wanyama, with Spurs looking to recoup the money they paid for him at least.
