Arsenal are set to make a third bid to sign Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney in the next few days.
The Gunners have been locked in negotiations for the Scottish international all summer, and have already had two bids for the player rejected. They initially had a bid for £15 million rejected in June, and then returned with a second offer of £25 million that matched Celtic’s valuation of the deal.
However, that bid was rejected too because of the way that it was structured, with too many add-ons for the Scottish Champions, such as Arsenal qualifying for the Champions League.
Now Arsenal are set to make a third bid and are increasingly confident of getting a deal concluded before the transfer deadline of August 8th.
The 22 year old boyhood Celtic fan has already won five Scottish Premiership titles with the Hoops, and made 40 appearances in all competitions last season, although he is currently recovering from a groin operation and will not be fit for the start of the campaign.
