Fernando Llorente could become a Tottenham player again if he is prepared to take a pay cut.
The 34 year old Spanish forward is a free agent after his existing deal with Tottenham ended on June 30th, and he is now free to discuss terms with a new club.
The former Swansea City striker has been linked with a move back to Spain, whilst Fiorentina are amongst the clubs interested in signing him. However, Spurs are willing to offer him a new one year deal on reduced terms if he cannot find a better offer elsewhere.
Llorente was on £100,000 a week under his old contract at White Hart Lane, and it is not clear what sort of salary reduction he would have to accept if he were to sign the new deal.
He is currently taking time to assess his available options, and has not been included in the Tottenham party that has flown to Singapore and Shanghai for their pre-season tour.
