Tottenham are set to launch a bid for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Spurs have already raided the South Yorkshire side for one of their brightest young players, signing teenage striker Jack Clarke in a £9 million deal before lending him back to the Championship side for the forthcoming season.
The 23-year old holding midfielder, who is a boyhood Leeds fan, was named in the REFL Team of the Season last campaign, and has already been the subject of an £11 million bid from Aston Villa. He is also being tracked by Newcastle, Bournemouth and Wolves, but Leeds do not want to let him go as they prepare for another tilt at promotion, havening missed out in the play-offs last time round.
They have offered him a new and improved contract, and are set to demand £30 million for a player who is likely to line-up in Perth next week for their friendly against Manchester United.
