Bournemouth not prepared to sell Arsenal target

Bournemouth are prepared to let Scottish winger Ryan Fraser run down his contract with the club and risk losing him for free next summer, rather than cash in by selling him now.

The 25-year old, who is valued at £25 million, has long been linked with a summer move to Arsenal. However, he is regarded as such an integral player by Eddie Howe, the Bournemouth manager, that he is prepared to turn down any overtures for the wide man, knowing that he could walk away from the South Coast side for nothing next season.

Fraser joined Bournemouth, when they were still playing in League One, for £400,000 in January 2013. He has since gone on to play for the club 171 times, scoring 22 times.

He has also become a full Scottish international, making his debut in a draw with England, and going on to play for his country on another six occasions.
