United not forced to sell Pogba

Manchester United have made it clear that they will not be forced to sell Paul Pogba.

In the past few weeks, Pogba, and his agent Mino Raiola have been conducting an orchestrated campaign to prepare United fans for the exit of the 26-year old from Old Trafford this summer.

He has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and it was a surprise to many when he was included in the squad for the club’s pre-season tour to Australia. And speculation was further sparked when Pogba and Jesse Lingard appeared to have an altercation in a Tweet posted on social media by the club itself (although, in reality, the “evidence” was less conclusive).

However, United have now made it clear that they are not prepared to be bullied into the sale of the 26-yeasr old World Cup winner, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saying “We’re Manchester United, we don’t have to sell players”.

Solskjaer himself has made a point of maintaining good relations with the player, praising his character and his professionalism.
