Manchester United have lined-up a ready-made replacement for Romelu Lukaku if the Belgian gets his wish of a move to Inter Milan.
Reports in Spain suggested that they have ear-marked Sevilla forward Ben Yedder to take his place at Old Trafford, with some suggestions that he may move to England, irrespective of what happens with Lukaku.
The French-born forward is one of the most prolific strikers in Spain, scoring 30 times in 51 appearances for Sevilla in all competitions last season. He has been linked with both PSG and Barcelona, but is thought to prefer a switch to England, and the chance to pull on a Manchester United shirt.
28-year old Yedder broke into the French national team last season, marking his debut with his first senior international goal in a 4 – 0 away win against Andorra.
He has a £36 million release clause in his contract. United are willing to pay this sum, and, according to some news outlets, have already agreed personal terms with him.
