Tottenham are preparing for a bid from Juventus for right-back Kieran Trippier – and are willing to let the England man join the Italian champions for £25 million.
The 28-year old endured a difficult campaign last season as his form dipped following last summer’s exploits with England, which saw him reach, and score, in a World Cup semi-final. Now Tottenham are prepared to let him go in order to boost their summer transfer coffers, as they continue to be linked with player like Tanguy Ndombélé, Ryan Sessegnon, and Nicolo Zaniolo.
According to the Daily Telegraph they may also be in the market for another right-back, if they sell either Trippier or his replacement Serge Aurier, although they do have promising youngster Kyle Walker-Peters in reserve as well.
Juventus are not the only Italian club linked with Trippier – Napoli have also been tracking his progress. But Juventus are the favourites to land him if Joao cancel moves to Manchester City.
