Dejan Lovren is a potential target for AC Milan.
That is according to Sky Sports who report that, whilst they have yet to make a serious offer, they consider Lovren a top target, and are likely to make a bid for him when, as expected, current Sampdoria manager, Marco Giampaolo, is confirmed as the man to succeed Gennaro Gattuso as the new boss at the San Siro.
Lovren made just 18 appearances for Liverpool last season, hampered by injuries, and is below Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez in the pecking order at Anfield now.
The 29-year old Croat joined Liverpool for a £20 million fee from Southampton in July 2014, and has since gone on to make 170 appearances for them in all competitions. He was one of the unused substitutes in their Champions League final win over Spurs at the start of this month.
