Tottenham are considering tabling a summer bid for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who has been dubbed the new N’Golo Kanté.
The 22-year old French midfielder first caught the eye when playing for Amiens, but it has since transferring to Ligue 1 rivals Lyon, that he has really come to prominence, breaking into the senior French national side when coming on a substitute for Paul Pogba in a 2- 2 friendly draw with Iceland last October.
Lyon, who very much do not want to sell him have offered Ndombele a new deal and are likely to value him at £70 million, but according to The Sun, Spurs believe they can obtain him for £50 million.
Ndombele’s arrival could potentially mean the departure of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama from the club as Spurs look to shake up their midfield, whilst Christian Eriksen has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
