Barcelona are willing to sell Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho provided they get a good enough offer for him.
That is according to The Star who report that Barcelona are prepared to cut their losses on a player who they bought from Liverpool for £142 million less than 18 months ago, after acknowledging that he has failed to make the impact at the Camp Nou that was anticipated.
The player himself is also reported to have handed in a transfer request, which will alert the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, both of whom have been linked with a return to the Premier League for the 26-year old Brazilian international.
Whilst seen as a big blow to Liverpool at the time, the Anfield club in retrospect got the better off the deal from his sale, using the money raised to buy Virgil van Dijk and Allison Becker, two players instrumental in their progress to the Champions League final this year, as well as second place in the Premier League.
