Tottenham are eyeing a bid for Leicester playmaker James Maddison as they look to spend the jackpot they have generated by reaching the Champions League Final.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has been promised that the bulk of the £70 million plus that the club have earned from their progress to the final can be spent on transfers, and one name on his shopping list is the 22-year old Leicester player, who has earned his first senior England call-up after an impressive first season in the Premier League.
Leicester paid Norwich City £22.5 million for the former Coventry academy player, but his value has appreciated considerably since then, after a season which score him score seven Premier League goals and provide a further assists. Despite this, Leicester are braced for a big fight if they want to hang on to one of their prized assets.
