Liverpool are amongst a string of clubs interested in signing Lille winger Nicolas Pépé.
The 22 year old is much in demand across Europe, after scoring 21 goals in 36 appearances for Lille last season, helping his side to a second place finish in Ligue 1.
Born in France to Ivorian parents, Pépé made his debut for the Ivory Coast in a friendly against France in November 2016, and scored his first international goal for them in another friendly, this time against Togo. He has since scored three other international goals, including one in his most recent appearance for the national side, in their 3 – 0 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda in March.
Now it looks like a big money move for him beckons, with Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Paris St. Germain also in the hunt for his signature.
Bayern have already had a bid of €60 million (£53 million) turned down, with Lille valuing the player closer to £80 million.
