Tammy Abraham is ready to fight for his place at Chelsea – but has not ruled out a return to Aston Villa at some stage.
The 21-year old played a major role in Aston Villa’s promotion push which ultimately ended in triumph on Monday when the side clinched the Championship play-off, defeating Derby Country 2 -1 at Wembley.
Now, with his parent club facing a two-window transfer ban, he is set to return to Stamford Bridge, where he hopes that he will be given first-team opportunities next season.
Abraham scored 26 goals in the Championship for Villa whilst on loan with them last season, and the West Midlands side would dearly like to be able to buy him outright as they prepare for life back in The Premier League.
However, whilst Abraham is not discounting the possibility of a return to Villa Park in the event that he does not get the opportunities he feels he deserves at Chelsea.
