Koscielny Arsenal future in doubt

The future of Arsenal captain Laurent Koscielny is in doubt with the club stalling on offering the 33-year old a new deal.

Arsenal have recently announced a new get tough transfer policy, whereby players with less than two years left on their current contract will either sign a new deal or will face being sold.

The Frenchman has 12 months left on his current deal at The Emirates, but now he is considering his options with talks on a new contract failing to progress.

That means that the Europa League final against Chelsea in Baku could potentially be his last game for the club, according to The Mirror, after making more than 400 appearances since signing from French second division side L’Orient in 2010.

His potential availability has excited the interest of Rennes and AC Milan, but favourites to land the central defender may be German side Bayer Leverkusen who will be playing in the Champions League next season.
