Paris Saint Germain want to sign N’Golo Kanté this summer.
The French league champions previously wanted Idrissa Gueye from Everton, but, after shelving their interest in him, have turned their attention to Kanté who they have made their main transfer target, as they look to gear themselves up for another bid at the Champions League next season.
The news will come as a further headache for Chelsea who are already reconciled to the loss of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, and, with a two window transfer ban imposed by FIFA likely to come into effect, they will not want to lose Kanté, who is very much at the heart of the team, despite being played out of position by Maurizio Sarri.
28 year old Kanté, a World Cup Winner with France last year, already has two Premier League title medals from his time in England with Leicester City and Chelsea is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
