Real Madrid are ready to test the determination of Liverpool to keep Mo Salah this season.
Manager Zinedine Zidane is planning a massive overhaul of the squad at the Bernabeu, and wants Salah to join a three-pronged attack with Karime Benzema and the incoming Eden Hazard.
There have been rumours for some months that Salah and Jurgen Klopp have not been seeing eye-to-eye at Anfield, and although this has always been rejected as nonsense by all parties involved, Real’s interest is bound to add to the speculation.
Liverpool for their part are not prepared to relinquish what they regard as one of their prized assets easily. The African Footballer of the Year has had another fine season, scoring 22 Premier League goal, and tying for the Golden Boot with team mate Sadio Mané, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
He has also helped them to the Champions League final again where they will face Tottenham Hotspur on June 1st.
