Liverpool youngster Ryan Kent wants to leave the club in the summer.
The 22 year old winger is currently on loan at Rangers, where he has made a huge impact since joining Steven Gerrard’s side last July.
His form has seen him nominated as both Premiership Player of the Year, and Young Player of the Year in Scotland, having made 40 appearances for Rangers and scoring 6 goals.
However, he has now made clear that he does not want to return to Liverpool because he is frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities at Anfield.
In the past three years, he has spent spells on loan at Coventry City, Barnsley, SC Freiburg in Germany, and Bristol City, before his current sojourn in Glasgow, but now he feels that enough is enough, and that he needs to make a permanent move, saying “I want to kick-start my career somewhere now”.
Whilst Rangers would love to sign him permanently, the price that Liverpool ask for him may be beyond their budget.
