United establish emergency fund to pay-off flops

Manchester United have set up an emergency fund to get some of their expensive flops off their books this summer.

That is according to The Sun who report that the Old Trafford club are desperate to get rid of their high earners when the transfer window opens, and are even prepared to pay off their contracts to force them to leave.

They include Marcus Rojo who still has over two years left on his current deal, which is worth a total of £11.5 million. Earning currently £150,000  a week, the Argentine international who has only played 192 minutes of Premier League football this season, has demanded a £6 million severance fee to leave the club early.

The other big name that they want out of the club is Alexis Sanchez, who is earning £500,000 a week, yet who has become a bit part player at Old Trafford, yet who astronomical salary has distorted the entire wage structure at the club.
