Real Madrid are ready to make an official offer to sign Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.
The Belgian international has long been linked with a move to the Spanish capital in the summer, and now reports are emerging suggesting that Real are prepared to make an opening bid of £85 million (€98 million) next few days, with suggestions that he could be offered a six year deal to make the switch, although Chelsea are likely to hold out for considerably more
Out of contract at Stamford Bridge in 2020, Hazard has refused to sign a new deal with the West London side, and although their preference is to keep their talisman, there is a growing acceptance that they should sell him and cash in on their prized asset rather than let him leave for free in a year’s time.
Certainly his current manager Maurizio Sarri appears reconciled to his loss saying “If Eden wants another experience it’s very difficult to keep him”.
