Wan-Bissaka top of United shopping list

Now that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been permanently confirmed as Manchester United boss, the focus of the club is starting increasingly to turn to their summer transfer plans, as the club begins to plan for the future.

Solskjaer’s appointment signals a change in emphasis in United’s transfer policy, with a switch away from signing high-priced big name players in favour of younger, emerging players.

Fitting that mould perfectly is Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and the 21-year old is reputed to top their list of summer transfer targets, although he could cost United up to £40 million, because he is under contract at Selhurst Park until 2022.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Jadon Sancho are two other names which have been linked with United, but their chances of securing either of them in the short-term would appear to be slim. Chelsea will not want Hudson-Odoi to join a title rival, whilst Sancho has recently signed a new deal with Borussia Dortmund.
