Two men who have left their jobs with Premier League clubs this season, Slaviša Jokanović, formerly of Fulham, and ex-Huddersfield Town boss David Wagner, have both been linked with the vacant post at West Bromwich Albion.
The job is open after Darren Moore was controversially sacked as manager less than an hour after the club’s disappointing draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday evening, despite the club lying 4th in the Championship, and in the play-of positions.
The decision has been greeted with shocks by many fans, with whom Moore, a former player was very popular, but, as The Telegraph reports, there have been problems behind the scenes, and the Board feel that, given the resources available, the club should be in the automatic promotion places.
Albion are next in action in the Championship against Swansea on Wednesday, and they hope to have a new manager in place by the time the club take the field then.
