Alexis Sanchez has no intention of leaving Manchester United this summer, even if the club wants to sell him.
The 30-year old Chilean international has been a major flop at United, since arriving from Arsenal last January, scoring just three goals in 29 appearances, whilst pocketing close to £500,000 a week in wages.
There have been reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, one of the few teams in the world who could afford him, but Sanchez is determined to see out his contract with United, which still has another 3 years to run.
So desperate are United to get rid of him that they are apparently prepared to subsidise his wages if another club is willing to buy him but for now at least, Sanchez who is currently ruled out with a knee injury, is intent on staying put.
Meanwhile on the pitch, his old club Arsenal inflicted a first league defeat on interim United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday, beating them 2- 0 at the Emirates.
