Liverpool could be set to make a bid to sign former player Suso in the summer window.
The 24-year old attacking midfielder is currently playing for AC Milan, where he has caught the eye this season in Serie A, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists.
According to Calciomercato, the Anfield club tried to sign him in January, but were rebuffed by Milan. However, they are ready to try again in the summer, and are prepared to meet his £40 million release clause.
The Spaniard began his career with his home town club of Cadiz and their youth system, before switching to the Liverpool academy on his 17th birthday. However, despite breaking through to the first-team on Merseyside and making 14 Premier League appearances in the 2012 – 2013 season mainly from the bench, he was allowed to leave on loan back to La Liga and Almeria the following year.
Deemed surplus to requirements, he was allowed to leave for Milan in January 2015, but now could be set for a return to Anfield.
