Former Manchester United and West Ham player Ravel Morrison has joined Swedish outfit Ostersunds on loan for the rest of the season, after training with them for the past few weeks.
That is according to The BBC who report that the Swedish side, now managed by Englishmen Ian Burchall, hope to have the player match-fit by the time their league season starts on March 31st.
The 26-year old midfielder has been on the books of Serie A side Lazio, but has not played for them since April 2016, and most recently had a loan spell in Mexico with Atlas, for whom he scored 4 goals in 23 appearances.
Now the player once labelled a “brilliant footballer” by Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping that the move to Sweden can help re-start a career that promised so much, but has been derailed by a series of off the field problems and personal indiscipline.
