Manchester United are considering making a summer move for 19 year old João Félix – although it may cost them very big money to sign him.
The Portuguese under-21 international is in his first senior season with Benfica, but he has already impressed, drawing comparisons with former club legend Rui Costa, as well as playmaker Deco who had a spell in the Premier League with Chelsea.
United have had Félix watched by scouts on a number of occasions already this season, but they are not the only interested club in signing him, with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich amongst a clutch of big sides monitoring his progress, reports The Sun.
Benfica are apparently willing to sell him, but may demand up to £100 million for him – an exorbitant sum for a player who has only made 23 senior league appearances to date in his career.
