Daniel Farke set for new Norwich deal

Daniel Farke, manager of Championship high-flyers Norwich City is set to sign a new deal with the club.

The 43-year old German was appointed at Carrow Road in May 2017, but came under fire from Norwich supporters after he could only steer them to 14th place in the league in his first season in charge.

However’ the club’s Board held their nerve and have been rewarded this season as Farke has guided Norwich to the top of the Championship, two points ahead of second-placed Leeds United.

Now, according to The Daily Mirror, Farke, who is out of contract in the summer, is set to put an end to speculation about his future by signing a new two and a half year deal with the East Anglian side.

Farke is another manager off the Borussia Dortmund production line, and, if Norwich maintain their current form, could be set to follow the examples set by Jurgen Klopp, David Wagner, and his successor, Jan Siewert, by managing in the Premier League.
