The future of Bosnian international Asmir Begović at Bournemouth is in doubt after reports emerged of a furious row with his manager Eddie Howe.
The 31-year old joined the South Coast club in an £8 million deal from Chelsea in July 2015, and has been first-choice goalkeeper with them ever since. However, after a run of games over the Christmas period which saw Bournemouth concede 14 goals without earning a single point, he was left out of the side and veteran Artur Boruc recalled in his place.
The 38-year old Pole went on to keep clean sheets in the next two games against West Ham and Chelsea, although he was unable to prevent the side slipping to a two goal defeat at Cardiff last weekend.
According to The Daily Mirror Begović had a heated discussion with Howe about his position, although the club are trying to downplay this and refute that the confrontation became physical.
