Tottenham are favourites to sign Norwich right-back Max Aarons in the summer, although Chelsea and Arsenal are both monitoring his situation as well.
That is according to The Daily Mail who report that Spurs are ready to step up their long-standing interest in the 19 year-old who has made a big impression this season in a Norwich side that is currently leading the Championship after securing a vital 3 -1 win against their main promotion rivals Leeds United last weekend.
Aarons began his career at Luton Town before switching to the Norwich Academy when he was 16 years old. He signed his first professional contract last June, and has since gone on to make 27 senior appearances for The Canaries, scoring 3 times.
The Hammersmith-born player is under contract at Carrow Road until 2023, and Norwich will be looking for more than £20 million to persuade them to part with one of their brightest young talents.
