Crystal Palace re-sign Bakary Sako until the end of the season

Crystal Palace have re-signed winger Bakary Sako on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

The Mali international played for Palace for three seasons, after joining them from Wolves in August 2015, and went on to make 43 Premier League appearances for them, scoring eight goals in his spell there before being released when his contract expired.

A free agent, he was signed by West Bromwich Albion in October 2018 on a season-long contract, but only made six appearances for the Championship club, and failed to fit the net once. Now he is back at Selhurst Park, at least until June, reports Sky Sports, with manager Roy Hodgson hoping that Sako will add to the firepower at his disposal.

Sako is Palace’s second signing of the transfer window, after the arrival of young goalkeeping prospect, Lucas Perri, who was signed earlier in the week from São Paulo.
