Crystal Palace want to take Everton striker Cenk Tosun on loan until the end of the season.
That is according to The BBC who report that Palace are desperate to add to their attacking options, and have now turned to Tosun as the potential answer to their problems, having earlier in the month have a deal to take Dominic Solanke from Liverpool fall through on medical grounds.
Tosun was signed by Everton from Beşiktas for £27 million a year ago, but has failed to really justify his fee, scoring just 7 times in 27 appearances in all competitions. A regular starter last season under Sam Allardyce, he has been mainly restricted to substitute appearances among new manager Marko Silva this campaign.
Everton have been amongst the clubs linked with a move for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in the current window so may be prepared to allow Tosun his loan move, having already loaned out another striker this month, with Oumar Niasse joining Cardiff City for the rest of the season.
