Chelsea wing back Victor Moses is to have a medical on Thursday ahead of agreeing a loan move to Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahçe for the rest of the season.
A first-choice started under the previous regime of Antonio Conté at Stamford Bridge, a switch to a flat back four under new man Mauricio Sarri has meant that Moses has fallen out of favour in West London, and he has barely featured for the West London side this season, with just 26 minutes in the Premier League to his name, as a well as a mere handful of substitute appearances in the Europa League and EFL Cup.
Now, according to The Metro, provided that he passes the medical, Moses will be announced as a Fenerbahçe player, at least for the rest of the season, in the next 48 hours.
Moses is set to join a side that is struggling near the foot of the Super Lig, and they will be hoping that his arrival can help them escape the spectre of relegation, almost unthinkable for a club of Fenerbahçe’s size.
