Juventus to tempt Arsenal with player exchange for early Ramsey release

Juventus are trying to persuade Arsenal to release Aaron Ramsey during the current transfer window by offering a player in part exchange for the Welsh midfielder.

That is according to Calciomercato who report that the player in question is goalkeeper Emil Audero, a 22 year old product of the Juventus youth academy, who is currently on loan with Sampdoria. Audero has never played a senior game for Juventus, but is enjoying a successful season with his loan club who currently sit eighth in Serie A.

Arsenal are in the market for a new goalkeeper after Petr Cech announced he is to retire at the end of the season. Significantly perhaps, they allowed their third choice keeper, Emi Martinez, to join Reading for the rest of the season on Wednesday.

Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Juventus when his current deal at Arsenal expires in the summer. However, if the reports are true, he may be leaving The Emirates much sooner than expected.
