Chelsea teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to reject an offer by the club of an £85,000 a week pay deal in favour of a move to German champions Bayern Munich.
That Is according to the Mail on Sunday, who report that, despite the offer of a bumper new contract, the player believes he will have more of a chance of regular first-team football on a regular basis in the Bundesliga than he has with the Stamford Bridge outfit under Mauricio Sarri.
Bayern have already tabled a £35 million bid for the player, and have further sweetened the deal for him by promising him the number 10 shirt, currently worn by club legend Arjen Robben, when he retires in the summer.
Hudson-Odoi made his latest appearance as a substitute in Chelsea’s defeat at Arsenal at The Emirates on Saturday evening, with many of the club’s supporters railing afterwards that he was brought on too late to make any difference to the result.
