Tottenham are considering offering former Manchester United forward Giuseppi Rossi a pay-as-you play deal.
That is according to The Daily Mirror who report that Spurs are desperately trying to find a solution after Harry Kane picked up an ankle injury against Manchester United in their last match, which will see the England striker miss a number of key matches, including both legs of their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, and the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
Already plans to allow Fernando Llorente to leave the club, either on loan or for a permanent move have been shelved for this window, and now the club is thinking to turn to Rossi who is available on a free transfer after leaving Genoa at the end of last season.
Rossi is currently training with United again, whilst he continues his search for a new club, although they have ruled out any chance of them re-signing.
