Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is likely to move to Celtic on loan for the rest of the season.
The Scottish international has found himself on the fringe of the first-team at Old Trafford this season, with only 3 starts and 4 substitute appearances to his name in the Premier League so far this campaign, the last being a cameo appearance in the dying seconds in the win against Spurs at Wembley last weekend.
Now it appears that United are ready to let him move north of the border to continue his football development, according to Sky Sports.
Celtic have already brought in three players in the current transfer window, in the form of Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah on loan, as well as completing the permanent signing of Vakoun Issouf Bayo. They have also been linked with two more in the shape of Americans Manny Perez and Andrew Gutman, with Brendan Rogers ready to let several players leave the club, like Scott Allan, with the 27-year old midfielder yet to register a single appearance for the club this season.
