Ex-Liverpool winger Ryan Babel is close to agreeing a loan move to Fulham.
The 32 year old Dutch international is currently playing in Turkey with Beşiktaş but, according to news outlet De Telegraaf is set for a medical in London on Tuesday ahead of a move for the rest of the season to The Cottagers, who are battling relegation at the wrong end of the Premier League table.
The former Ajax player joined Liverpool in 2007 and went on to make 146 appearances for them, finding the net 22 times. Since then he has had something of an itinerant career, with spells in Germany, back in Holland, the UAE, Spain, and Turkey twice, including his current club who he joined two years ago.
He has played 54 times for his country, and recently forced his way back into the Dutch squad for their successful Nations League campaign, after a hiatus of nearly nine years.
