West Ham eye Callum Wilson as Arnautuvic replacement

West Ham are considering signing Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson as a replacement if Marko Arnautuvic leaves for China.

The Austrian forward has already been the subject of one bid from a Chinese club which the Hammers rejected, but an improved offer is anticipated during the January window which may finally force them to accept his sale.

Arnautuvic has made it clear that he wants to move to the Far East where he will earn around £250,000 a week, and made no secret that he thinks he is leaving, waving farewell to the crowd at the London Stadium when he was substituted during his side’s one-nil home win against Arsenal on Saturday.

Now Wilson has been lined-up as a possible replacement, according to The Daily Mail, although Bournemouth will likely place a hefty price-tag on the England centre-forward, who has also been linked with a move to Chelsea in the current transfer window.

Ironically enough West Ham visit Bournemouth next in the Premier League.
