Wolves sign Spanish winger

Wolves have become the first Premier League side to make a move in the transfer window by signing young Spanish winger David Wang.

The 18-year old has joined the club from Spanish fourth-division side Jumilla B (Estudiantes) but Wolves fans who hope to see him wearing the old gold shirts will have to wait a while, as he has already been sent out on loan to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon until the end of the season.

According to The Daily Mail, the right-footed winger, who can already speak English and Chinese as well as his native Spanish, will feature in Sporting’s B side, as he continues his development away from the limelight.

Wang was born in Cuenca in central Spain, and is of Chinese ethnicity. He started playing at a young age on small, hard futsal courts, and spent last season on loan with AE Josep Maria Gene, scoring 3 goals in 24 appearances.
